On April 11th, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred at Alexandria Monroe High School in Indiana, leaving several students injured and one dead.
According to reports, the shooter, a student at the school, opened fire in a classroom before being confronted and taken into custody by local law enforcement. The motive for the shooting is currently under investigation.
Several students were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to critical, and unfortunately, one student succumbed to their injuries.
