In the role of Superman, Tatum has shown his range of strength and agility, as well as his loyalty and sense of honor. However, it must be noted that he did not look like Superman in the Smallville TV series, nor did he have the same sort of physique that the actor had when he was portraying the original man of steel. In the films, Tatum has displayed an average physique. For some this might be a disappointment, however, he has proven that he has the physical power to play the roles that he has been assigned.
When he was cast as the young John Blake in the Harry Potter franchise, fans everywhere were excited. They knew that this young star of the series would be a major part of the series and they were right. He played the role flawlessly and people loved every minute of his scene with Tom Hardy. For those people who didn’t like what they saw, they shouldn’t have been so worried since the role was one that they would want to see again in future projects.
Other roles that he has done in movies and television include the villainous role of Vinnie Barbarino in The Cable Guy and as Dr. Alexander Kaidis in X-Men: The Wolverine. He has also played the gruff grunt role of Thomas Brodie-Sangster in The Cable Guy and The Mentalist. These roles were both great examples of the type of acting that Tatum excels in. Then, he took on the role of Tony in Iron Man and he did not let the role go unnoticed. People loved Tatum for the role and for the way he added humor to an otherwise dark film.
For anyone serious about their career, they will want to take a role in something like Minority Report. This will allow them to not only be recognized by fans but to also get a paycheck to help cover all of their expenses while they are in school. Every student wants to have a role in their film so that they can show the world what they are capable of doing and people will want to line up to learn more about what they do. Tatum will have many opportunities to showcase this skill in the coming years.
